National Cervical Smear Programme
From September 1st 2009, cervical smears are available free to all women who fall into the target group (aged 25-60). If you wish to have a smear, you should first register with the programme either online here or by calling the freephone number 1800 454555.
Smear Clinics are provided to women with a letter of invitation from CervicalCheck by appointment in Castlefinn Health Centre on Tuesday afternoons. Please bring your PPS number. The service is free to all eligible women. Private arrangements for cervical screening can also be arranged by appointment with the practice nurses
